This Privacy Policy explains how South Florida Laundry ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit southfloridalaundry.com or use our laundry pickup and delivery services. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pickup address, unit or gate details, pickup notes, booking preferences (date, time window, number of bags, detergent), and any messages you send us.
Location, only if you choose: if you tap "Use my current location," your browser shares your device's location so we can find your address. We use it once for that lookup and don't track your location.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as payment status and the last four digits of your card, but never your full card number.
Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.

To schedule, pick up, process and deliver your laundry, and to take payment
To send order updates by text or email, and to respond to your questions
To check whether your address is in our service area and plan driver routes
To prevent fraud, keep our website secure, and comply with legal obligations
To improve our services

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under agreements that limit their use of it, or when required by law:

Stripe: payment processing
Cloudflare: website hosting and security
Google: address lookup (Google Maps Platform), business email and booking records
OpenStreetMap address search (Photon by Komoot): address suggestions and location lookup
Text messaging providers: to deliver order updates

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies & local storage

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our booking form saves your progress in your browser's local storage, so you don't lose your place if you leave the page. This data stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. Our service providers may use strictly necessary cookies for security and payment processing.

5. Text messages & email

If you give us your mobile number when booking, we'll send transactional texts about your order. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We only send marketing texts with your prior express written consent. We don't share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. Marketing emails, if we send any, will include an unsubscribe link, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

6. Retention & security

We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, and then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. If a data breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by the Florida Information Protection Act (section 501.171, Florida Statutes) and other applicable law.

7. Your choices & rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
correct inaccurate information
delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or legitimate business reasons, such as tax records
stop sending you texts or marketing emails

To make a request, email hello@southfloridalaundry.com. We'll verify your identity and respond within 45 days. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We extend these choices to all customers, including any rights you may have under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults. You must be 18 or older to book. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we'll provide additional notice where required by law.
